Petition of Asa Getchell and others, praying for a Charter to build a toll Bridge across the Piscataquis River, near Westons Ferry, in the town of Kilmarnock - read and referred to the Committee on Roads and Bridges in concurrence.
Order from the House of Representatives, instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to inquire into the expediency of so amending the law, relating to the weighing of hay, as to prohibits the weighers [?] of hay in the several cities, towns, and plantations in this State, from purchasing hay by them weighed, for others purpose than their own consumption - read and passed in concurrence.
Order from the House of Representatives, instructing the Committee on the Militia, to inquire into the expediency of erecting a gunhouse in East Machias, for the accommodation of the Columbian Artillery - read and passed in concurrence.
