Petition of Elliot Harper and others; -"- of John H. Willard and others, praying for the passage of a Law relative to the construction of Sleighs; -"- of Shermon Pishion and others, praying to be incorporated for the purpose of constructing and maintaining a horse Ferry Boat across the Kennebec River, in Fairfield; Remonstrance of Stephen Frothingham and others, proprietors of Back Cove Bridge against the petition of George Warren and others, praying for further time to receive tolls on said Bridge - severally read and referred to the Committee on Roads and Bridges, in concurrence.
The Report and Resolutions adopted by the General Assembly of the State of Georgia on the subject of the Surplus Revenue communicated by the Governor yesterday, was taken up and referred to the committee that have so much of the Governor's Message under consideration as relates to the Surplus Revenue. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Mr Woodbury, from the Committee on Division of Towns, reported leave to withdraw on petition of John Barker - and Thomas Clark and others - read and accepted.
