On motion of Mr Ham, Ordered, that the Governor be requested to communicate for the use of the Legislature, such documents as may be in his possession having reference to the doings and management of any of the Banks, Charted and in the laws of this State. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Petition of John H. White and others, praying to be set off from Madison to Showhegan - read and referred to the Committee on Division of Towns. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
A communication from the Secretary of State transmitting official statement of the Agricultural Societies within this State, received in the Secretary's Office, during the month of January last past - read and referred to the Committee on Agriculture. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
A message was received from the Governor transmitting a copy of the Preamble and Resolutions adopted by the Legislature of Maryland in relation to the Franking privilege - read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
