On motion of Mr. Woodman, Ordered, that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire what alteration is necessary in the law in relation to complaints on Roads, read and passed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Petition of Andrew Cole and others, praying that said Cole may be remunerated for false imprisonment, read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Remonstrance of Benjamin Fish and others against the petition of Enoch Paine and others for a free bridge, read and referred to the Committee on Roads and Bridges. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Petition of William Purinton and others, praying to be incorporated by the name of the Bowdoinham Steam Mill Company.

" of Jabez C. Woodman and others, praying to be incorporated for the purpose of manufacturing leather, shoes and boots, severally read and referred to the Committee on Manufactures.
