A.(cont.) and lie naked, I think I have seen it on a few occasions when it was rather cold. Q. In your judgment do you think the system of placing these violent patients naked in those lodges the best that might be devised? A. All I can answer to that is that I see no better way. I am not an expert in that matter and don't feel particularly charged with it. I have thought of it some and I see no better way unless you sew the patient up in a sack or suit which might cover the whole body. Then there are certain difficulty's about that. I have thought of that, and the difficulty of attention to the wants of the body would come in time and I don't know. At present I can not see any way that the system can be improved upon. Q. Isn't it an open question in your mind? A. I think there are a great many open questions and that is certainly one of them. And that is worthy of attention.
