I don't think he waited for an invitation. Q. Were you a new attendant at the time? A. I was. Q. Have you ever let anybody in that way before except attendants? A. No, sir. Q. Ever known anybody else to come in there A. No, sir. Q. Had you heard any scream in the ward prior to that A. I don't think I had; I don't remember of it. Q.
