Q. What is her condition now should you say A. She is demented. Quiet the most of the time now. Q. What was her state of mind when she left the sick room A. At times she was violent; one or two attacks of violence before she left the sick room. Q. Was there any material change in her mental condition at the time she left the sick room as compared with her condition before she went into it A. No, I don't think there was. About the same I should judge. Q/ But gradually after that she grew worse A. Yes sir. Q. Do you ascribe that at all to the fact that she was put back into the wards A. [ ], no. Q. Had that anything to do ("it" with line through) with it at all A. I dont believe she would have been able to remain in that sick room much longer. For at that time she commenced to be violent at times and throw the furniture, and had once or twice before she was returned.
