C.B. Laken, recalled By Mr. Baker: Q. I wish you would state in your own way the heating arrangement and what changes have been made from time to time down to the present time in the lodges A. The lodge rooms are located on the ends of what we call the third wings. The third wings run north and south. The lodge rooms run across; consequently their longest direction would be east and west, or nearly so. The female lodge is located at the southerly end of the female third wing. The male lodge is located at the northerly end of the male third wing. the wings of the hospital are first second and third on each side, male and female. Practically they correspond to each other. That is, the first male and the first female are nearly alike, and so on with the others. The method of heating the lodges about which you question me is about the same.
