1070 Q. Do you remember that? A. I am not entirely clear whether I do, I would not like to say I was with him. I was either with him or learned the matter spoken of the next day. Q. From your own knowledge whether the temperature in the lodge rooms has ever been such that patients have suffered from cold by being put into the lodge? A. I have no reason to think anybody has suffered by reason of cold. I think they have suffered by reason of heat. That is to say not excessively, but I have generally felt and it is shared by many. I know the building has always been kept to warm until this winter. This winter thermometers have been hung up and kept up and before they were not kept up. They would get broken and were not always restored. Q.
