About 6 Q. Is this food kept under lock and key? A. Yes sir Q. Had any other person access to this food but yourself in the first instance? A. No sir Q. No other person carried the key? A. No sir Q. Did you keep accounts concerning this raw material of food? A. I did Q. Were these account of such nature that it would show all the food of each class that you received and all you issued? A. They were after the first of it, after I was clerk, it had not been the custom to keep any accounts of that kind when I went there. And after the first year or about that time we kept a regular set of books. Q. These goods were charged in as they were received and charged out as they were issued? A. Yes sir Q. The a hogshead of molasses would be charged in as containing so many gallons?
