1208 A. (cont.) I think Mr. hinkley and I have usually been over together. I have been alone several times. Q. Have your visits been made at irregular intervals? A. Yes sir, sometime without notice to the officers and sometimes with. I have been over twice in the evening and later. I think I was over in December, it must have been after 9 o'clock. Q Have you observed the temperature of the lodge halls and rooms as compared with that of other parts of the building during the day and evenings? A. Yes sir, I was never there at any time but what the lodges were comfortable; I should hardly think they were so warm as the halls. The goes to the rooms from the halls. Q. Have you made it a point to see the patients and talk with them and find out in every way you could their condition and how they were treated as to their comfort and care? A. I think I can say I have been very diligent in that respect. I made that a special point to look to. Q. State your observation upon that.
