Q. Were the bathtubs liable to be used for
other purposes than baths when you were
there A. They were used for other purposes
Q. They were cleaned were they not before a
man was put into them? A. Yes, sir,
and brushed down with a stiff brush and
filled with water and ^the sides and bottom rinsed down as clean
as could be made before a man was put
in, if the attended attended to his business.
Q. Were they at any time afterthis operation
of cleaning such as you would bathe in
habitually? A. I dont know; I should not want
to any way bathe in any of their tubs.
