By Mr. Baker:
Q. You are an attendant at the hospital?  A. Yes.
Q. For how many years A. Nearly 6.
Q. Have you been in different wards A. In 2.
Q. Were you at one time one of the
attendants in charge of the lady to
whom Dr. Butler refers? A. Yes, sir
Q. How long was she under your charge
A. I don't remember; a number of weeks.
Q. Was this lady very difficult to manage
and take care of? A. She was. She
required a great deal of care and attention.
Q. Was she very liable to provoke and
irritate other patients even to violence, 
if she went about much? A. Yes, she was.
Q. And on that account did you have
to keep her in her room the
greater part of the time? A. Yes sir
Q. Was she kept locked in generally? A. Yes.
Q. But at times was out with the
others A. Yes sir
Q. She went to meals with the rest
did she? A. Yes.
Q. You remember the fact of 
her being injured by some other
