[Message from House]
A message from the House - by Mr Child their Clerk -
“Mr President -
The House of Representatives have amended the engrossed Bill to establish a court of Common Pleas by inserting at A in the eleventh section the words “last tuesday of May” instead of “first tuesday of June” and at B - the words ‘third tuesday of August instead of “fourth tuesday of September” - and they request the concurrence of the Senate.” -
The amendments thus proposed being agreed to by the Senate the Secretary was directed to inform the House thereof - the bill was then passed to be enacted.

Mr Tallman from the Committee on State lans reported that the following petitions viz.
Petition of John Feed-
“ Samuel Brown - and
James Treworgy be referred to the next legislature - also that
Thomas Goss and Joseph Bliss, Selectmen of Pittston have leave to withdraw their petition - 
Which reports were read and accepted - Sent down for concurrence - came up concurred.
[Report on abstract of Militia]
Mr McDonald from the Joint Committee on the Militia, to whom was referred the abstract of the annual return of the militia reported that the same be placed on the files of the Senate- report read and accepted - Sent down for concurrence - came up concurred -
[Committee on Salaries of Justices of the Common Pleas]
Order of the House that Messrs Bridgham Pond and Dunn, with such as the Senate may join be a committee to consider what sums shall be allowed as compensation to the Justices of the Court of Common Please, with leave to report by Bill or otherwise - came up for concurrence - Read and concurred and Messrs Seaver and Turnham were joined on the part of the Senate.
The Senate adjourned -
