A message was received from the house of representatives, that they had taken a fourth Ballot for the purpose of filling the vacancy in the office of Major General of the fourth Division of the Militia of this State, had again chosen Richard T. Dunlap and request the concurrence of the Senate,   

Bill additional for carrying into effect certain stipulations in the Act for erecting the Districts of Maine into a separate State was read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence
