Thursday Eve. Sept. 16. Cold. I have raked up 16 large bunches 2nd. crop grass this afternoon. Do you remember raking 2nd. crop on the same ground, last year, and making little bunches about as large as 5 peck baskets?

I thought of it when you was at home; but I trod on your toes so much about other things. I omttied to mention this. It is better late than never.
