22nd    Governor John Francis was here, saw Mr Fuller, & that Mr Fuller told him his Father was not a regular Soldier, therefore he could not get anything, but the Indians were called upon by Capt. Smith, & the old man got Pension money one or two years before he died, & died when he was about 99 & this Son is a trying to get the amount that Should have been payed to him before his death, & if it could be [?] at, the old man Should have it, because he is poor & cannot go out hunting.  He ses if he could he would not ask it, & if you could ever help him that way drop me a letter that I may read it to him. If John Gabriel is taken I think now I Should not wish to go his bail to his appearance to Court  because I have expend for them all I can, now for a time your Excellency can do it.
