Resolve - in favor of Samuel Phinney - was read a second time and passed to be engrossed as taken into a new draft - sent up for concurrence -

Bill - regulating Cost in Criminal prosecutions was read a third time and passed to be engrossed as amended on sheet annexed marked B - sent up for concurrence -

Bill - additional to secure to owners their property in Logs masts, masts, spars and other timber was read and committed to Messrs. Bradbury of Hollis, Magoun of Bath and Lawrence of Fairfield.
 
Ordered that the Joint Standing Committee on the Judiciary be directed to inquire into the expediency of providing by law for the Inspection, packing and branding of Beef and pork, where the office of Inspector General of Beef and Pork shall become vacant by death or otherwise - sent up for concurrence -
