Report on Petition of Abraham Morrill and others -
- of Rufus Jameson and others, granting orders of notice were severally read and accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Report - on Petition of B. Brown granting leave to withdraw came from the Senate they adhering to their vote accepting the same - and the House reconsider their vote of the 19th. instant and concur with the Senate.

Ordered that the Committee on State Valuation be instructed to take from the valuation returns of the town of Westbrook, the property of James Meader which has been set off from said Westbrook to Falmouth by an Act of the Legislature since the commencement of of the present Session, and add the same to the valuation of Falmouth sent up for concurrence. 

The Committee on Engrossed Bills report as duly Engrossed - 
Bill - to incorporate the Sidney Mutual Fire Insurance Company -
- to establish the Hancock Ferry Company -
- additional to incorporate the Waterville Mutual Fire Insurance Company
- to prevent the destruction of Pickerel in Wilson, Cocknewagan, south and Cobbesecontee Great Pond in the towns of Monmouth and Winthrop - which were severally passed to be enacted - sent up for concurrence.

Bill - to regulate Banks and Banking came again from the Senate for concurrence they having receded & concurred with the House in Section 4 line 3 - Section 13. Sec. 14. Sec. 26. Sec. 22 line 25 & further amended the Bill in the sixteenth section - & the House nonconcur the Senate in their last proposed amendment of the 16th Section & adhere to their former vote passing the 16th Section as amended in new draft by striking out after the word "tax" in the third line the words "of one half" - & recede from their former vote so far as to
