The Secretary of State came in and laid upon the table, a written message from the Governor transmitting the Report of the Commissioners appointed under the Resolve  of the ninth of March 1832 "for the purchase of Indian Lands" together with the doings of the Council thereon, which was read & ordered to lie on the table.

An Act in addition to an Act to establish the Medical School Hospital, was read, and with the accompanying papers, referred to the Joint Select Committee to which was referred so much of the Governor's message as relates to the subject of the Deaf and Dumb, together with the Insane.  Sent down for concurrence. Concurred. 

Remonstrance of Jonathan Allen and others against the erection of a Bridge over the falls in Bluehill, was read and referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals.  Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Petition of Enoch Creig Jr and others, praying to be set off from the town of Freeman, and annexed to the town of Strong, was read and referred to the Committee on the Division of Towns. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
