Resolve providing for the choice of Electors of President and Vice President was read a second time and the question upon passing the same to be engrossed was taken by yeas and nays, and decided in the affirmative as follows, yeas 87, nays 35.

Report on petition of Samuel A. Bradley and others granting an order of notice was read and accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Report on petition of Selectmen of Bangor
- on petition of Ira Wadleigh and others
- on petition of Stephen Emery and N.M. Lowney
- on petition of Aaron Tyler and others, granting leave to withdraw were severally read and accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Report on an order relating to trespass,
- on the petition of the chiefs, captains &c of the Penobscot Indians that legislation on  those subjects is inexpedient, were severally read and accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Report on an order relating to trespass,
- on Bill respecting schools referred from the last legislature, that legislation on those subjects is unnecessary - were read and accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Ordered that Mr. Dunlap of Brunswick, Perkins of Kennebunk Port and Smith of Portland be a Committee to consider the expediency of the passage of a law regulating the damages
