Mr Emerson from the joint standing committee on State Lands, to whom was committed an order to sell to George Gillis, Township Numbered Four in the Fifth Range, reported that Legislation is unnecessary. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. 

The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed:
Resolve for locating a road from Brighton to Moosehead Lake; and the same was finally passed

Bill in addition to the several Acts for the preservation of Fish in the waters of Penobscot River, and its tributary streams.
Recommitted in concurrence with the House. 

Mr Emerson from the joint Standing Committee on State Lands, to whom was referred a Resolve in favor of the Penobscot Tribe of Indians, reported reference to the next Legislature. Read and accepted.
