pointed a Committee to receive, sort and count the votes
for Secretary; who, having attended the duty assigned
them, reported that the whole number of votes was 19.

signified his acceptance, and took and subscribed the
oaths required by the Constitution before James L.
Child, Esquire, authorized by Dedimus Potestatem, [< bold, underlined]  in

Ordered, on motion of Mr. Purinton, that
a Committee be raised to receive, sort and count
the votes for Messenger; and Messrs, Purinton,
Barnard and Fish were appointed said Committee;
