the votes for a Secretary of State who attended to that duty and reported that the whole number of votes given was one Hundred and seventy one necessary to a choice Eighty six Roscoe G. Greene had one Hundred and Forty votes and was declared Elected and  the convention separated

Ordered that the Joint Standing Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to enquire into the expediency of so amending an Act regulating Judicial process that no action shall hereafter be maintained for the escape of any of any debtor committed on Execution except a special action on the case.
