On this sixteenth day of March 1820 personally appeared before me William Crosby one of the Judges of the third Eastern Courts of Common Pleas including the counties of Hancock Washington and Penobscot being a court

court[stricken] of record by the laws of said state with power of fine and imprisonment Eleazer Dickey[handwritten] aged 63[handwritten] years, resident in Munroe[handwritten] late of Swanville[inserted above] in said county, who being first duly sworn according to law doth on his oath declare that he served in the revolutionary war as follows, to wit:

as a privet three years from 1779 to 1781 in Captn Benja Burtons command in Col Henry Thornburns Regiment Mass'tts Line one year, in Captn Burtons com'd in the same Regiment in Captn Norths com'd one year, in Col Henry Jacksons Regiment Mass'tts Line one year

of all which I made declaration before the Honorable Judge Crosby[handwritten] on the twenty fifth[handwritten] day of April[handwritten] 1818, and have received my pension certificate therefor, No.9072[handwritten] and I do solemnly swear, that I was a resident citizen in the United States on the eighteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighteen, and that I have not since that time, by gift, sale, or in any manner whatever, disposed of my property, or any part thereof, with intent thereby to diminish it as to bring myself within the provisions of an act of Congress, entitled "An Act to provide for certain persons engaged in the land and naval service of the United States in the Revolutionary War," passed on the eighteenth day of March one thousand eight hundred and eighteen, and that I have not, nor has any person in trust for me, any property or securities, contracts or debts due to me; nor have I any income, other than what is contained in the schedule hereto annexed, and by me subscribed.
