�Purchased some French books which Capt. Giles says are good. Also one of Jeremy Taylor's compilations, that is readable.
My Gen. orders for '63 are complete and Raby(?) has taken them to be bound.
Capt. Prescott gives us his orders of '61 and I hope to succeed in obtaining the majority of '62.
Have heard nothing from Jimmie yet. What does it mean?
