1. The following named Officers having tendered their resignations, are hereby discharged from the Military Service of the United States. Chaplain John F. Mines, 2nd Regt Maine Vols,

2. The resignation of Major Daniel Chaplin, 2d Maine Volunteers, is hereby accepted to enable him to accept the Colonelcy of the 18th Regt Maine Volunteers, to which he has been commissioned.
