The nominal Consideration in said deed was 1500 Dollars - that being the sum [illegible] to said George for his labour and Expenses in supporting me & my family after he became of age - this being all I could pay said George therefor- the Estimated & real value of said 100 acres being I think less than Five Hundred Dollars One pair of Oxen sold to John B. Hayes} --- 1822} Rec'd payment by discharge of sixty five dollars due said Hayes from me Two Cows sold to said Hayes} --- 1822} Recd' payment by discharge of Thirty Dollars part of the sum due from me to said Hayes Nine sheep sold to said Hayes} ---1822} Rc'd pay't by discharge of nine Dollars Part of the sum due to said Hayes from me - The mare & colt & 2 swine & one yearling bull all sold to Said Hayes} ----1822}Rec'd payt by discharge of Thirty Eight Dollars part of the sum due from me to said Hayes - to wit 23 dollars for the mare & colt - Ten dollars for the swine -& five dollars for the bull ___ And after making to said Hayes all the above payments I am still indebted to him in a sum which I am wholly unable to pay
