On this twentieth[handwritten] day of March[handwritten] 1820[stricken] 1821, being the first[handwritten] day of said term, personally appeared in open court, being a court of record by the laws of said state, with power of fine and imprisonment Eleazer Dickey[handwritten] aged 63[handwritten] years, resident in Munroe[handwritten] in said county, who being first duly sworn according to law doth on his oath declare that he served in the revolutionary war as follows, to wit:

as a private, for three years from 1778 to 1781 in Capt Benja Burtons comp'y in Col Henry Thornburns Regiment Massachusetts Line one year, in Captn Burtons com'd in the same regiment one year, one year in Capt North's com'd in Col Henry Jackson's Regiment Massachusetts Line one year

of all which made declaration before the Honorable Judge Crosby[handwritten] on the twenty fifth[handwritten] day April[handwritten] 1818, and have received my pension certificate therefore, No.9072[handwritten] and I do solemnly swear, that I was a resident citizen in the United States on the eighteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighteen, and that I have no since that time, by gift, sale, or in any manner whatever, disposed of my property, or any part thereof, with intent thereby so to diminish it as to bring myself within the provisions of an act of Congress, entitled "An Act to provide for certain persons engaged in the land and naval services of the United States in the Revolutionary War," passed on the eighteenth day of March one thousand eight hundred and eighteen, and that I have not,nor has any person in trust for me, any property or securities, contracts or debts due to me; nor have I any income, other than what is contained in the scheduled hereto annexed, and by me subscribed.
