On this 19th day of June 1820 personally appeared before me William Crosby one of the Judges [stricken] of the third eastern circuit court of Common Please including the counties of Hancock Washington and Penobscot being a court of record by the laws of said state with power of fine and imprisonment Israel Kenney age 75. Resident in Knox in said county of Hancock who being first duly sworn according to law doth on his oath declare that he served in the revolutionary war as follows to wit one year in 1776 1777 as a private in Cap' [stricken] Moses Com' in Col Prescots Regiment Massachusetts Troops and in Cap' Treadwells court of Artiler in Col Masons Regiment of which I made declaration before said Judge on the 11 day of April1818 and have received my pension

I [stricken] , do solemnly swear, that I was a resident citizen of the United States on the eighteenth day of March one thousand eight hundred and eighteen, and that I have not since that time by gift, sale, or in any manner whatever, disposed of my property, or any part thereof, with intent thereby so to diminish it as bring myself within the provisions of an act of Congress, entitled "An act to provide for certain persons engages in the land and naval service of the United States in the Revolutionary War," passed on the eighteenth day of March one thousand eight hundred and eighteen, and that I have not, nor has any person in trust for me, any property or securities, contracts or debts, due to me: nor have I any income, other than what is contained in the schedule hereto annexed, and by my subscribed.
