I think that we have got to do Orderly duty for Gen'l, Stonman. for 12 of us are detailed for Orderlies to morrow. Our horses has not had eny grain for 3 day. | ||

+ | This morning we went back to our Regt for the Colonel went to Gen Ston-man to get us back to the Regt again the Genl gave his consent so we are with the Regt once more. 24 of our Company had to go back to night 7 miles to get rations and ferage we are going to advance to morrow. | ||

+ | We had orders to saddle up our horses ready to start this morning at 1 oclock but did not start till 9. we marched on the road towards Warrenton. I guess that we are going to cross the Rapphannock river at Waterloo or else at Sulpher Springs. we came abought 15 miles to day and then Camped for the night. It rained to day. | ||

+ | To day we did not march but stayed in Camp. we are abought 1 mile from Warrenton. we went out foraging to day and got some beef cattle +c. we are out of rations. I don't know when we shall march again. I can not see what the movement is or What we are trying to do. |
