Mitchell was born in North Yarmouth in the State of Maine is Twenty Five years of Age 5 feet 11 inches high, Florid Complexion Blue Eyes Redish Hair and by occupation when Enrolled a Farmer Given at Washington D.C. this 9th day of April 1862 D.P.
