I reced your letter larst Night and was happy to hear frome you helen we ar all well at present Peater and I are on picket to day in the Chickahominy Swamp on the River the Johnies throw over Some Sehells over hear but don't hurt any one yet we are in seven miles of Richmond it is hot hear now but we are all of us well at present
