[Bill-- to ascertain the estate rateable &c] Bill entitled "an act to ascertain the Estate Rateable within this State" came down from the Senate nonconcurred in the amendments of this House in part. The House so far recede from their former votes upon this bill as to pass it to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

[Resolve-- Treasurer to claim from Massachusetts tax paid by Cumberland Bank, &c] Resolve, authorizing and requiring the Treasurer of the State of Maine forthwith to request the Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to pay the sum of One thousand dollars to the order of the Treasurer of this State being the sum paid by the Cumberland Bank as the proportion of the tax due from said Bank on the 1st day of April, there being no Treasurer appointed for the State of Maine at that time.
