Dr. Butler- I ask these questions for this purpose: The law provides that the visitors, both lady and gentleman, shall come at unexpected and irregular periods; and as I think I shall show by the former visitor, to come in so that they do not know when she comes in, so that she may come in by surprise. Now I meant to have remarked when I was up before that one point we make is this: We do not charge any criminal neglect, but carelessness; and that the law is not observed, and that it is faulty.
