The Speaker received and laid before the House a written communication from the Treasurer of State which read as follows.

"To the Speaker of the House of Representatives, In compliance with Article V. part IV. and Section 4th of the Constitution of the State and in obedience to the order of the House of Representatives of the 4th Instant, I have the honor to submit statements of Receipts and Expenditures of the Treasury of Maine for the political year 1820-21 to the House in general account current.
