[Major General 1st Division] death of Major General Frost — and on counting the ballots it appeared the whole number given in was 107-necessary to a choice 54 and Gen Simon Nowell having 57 was duly elected on the part of the House — The clerk was requested to communicate the same by message to the Senate.
