[Bill - owners of logs &c]

The committee to revise the act entitled " an act in addition to an act to secure to owners their property in logs masts, spars & other timber," so far as the same has relation to Schoodic River - and also "an act entitled an act to establish the Calais Boom Corporation" reported a bill and the following order of notice - report accepted.

Ordered, that notice be given (by the publication of this order three weeks successively in the Eastern Argus the last publication to be at least sixty days before the meeting of the next Legislature) to all persons interested to appear at the said next Legislature and shew cause if any they have, why the act entitled "An act to establish the Calais Boom Corporation passed Feby 5th 1822 should not be repealed - and that the further consideration of the order passed by this House the present session appointing or repealing said act, be referred to the next Legislature - read and passed.

Bill, repealing so much of "an act entitled an act in addition to an act to secure to owners their property in logs, masts, spars & other timber in certain cases" as relates to Schoodic River" was read 1st & 2nd time and tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a 3d reading -

An order came from the Senate referring the petition of the inhabitants of Jarvis Gore to be incorporated, to the committee on the incorporation of towns, for concurrence - and the House concurred.
