An order came from the Senate for concurrence, directing the committee on accounts to consider what compensation shall be made to the committee appointed by the Governor & Council agreeably to a resolve of last session, to collect information and investigate the subject of the punishment of convicts & the establishment of a States prison & penitentiary, and also the subject of the location of the seat of government - and the House concurred.
