[Notice to Governor of election of John Holmes Esq. as Senator to Congress] [credentials &c] Ordered, That the Secretary of State be directed to inform the Governor that the two Houses of the Legislature have elected John Holmes Esquire a Senator to represent this State in the Senate of the United States from and after the 3d day of March next - and that the Governor be requested to furnish that gentleman with the credentials necessary to entitle him to his seat in that body from and after the time aforesaid. In Senate Jany 31st 1821. Read and passed. Sent down for concurrence. Read and concurred.
