[Committee to report place for the permanent seat of Government.] An order of the Senate directing the committee appointed to consider and report at what place the next Legislature shall assemble, to enquire into the expediency of raising a Committee whose duty it shall be to visit such towns as they may think proper, and designate some central & suitable place at which the seat of Government may be permanently fixed and established, and the time when it will be proper to remove to such place, came down for concurrence — and the House concurred.

[Bill -Minl. & School Fund Andover] The Bill to incorporate the Trustees of the ministerial and School funds of Andover which passed this House the 23d inst. came from the Senate amended in a new draft for the concurrence of the House - and the House concurred.

[Bill - Maine Lodge] Bill to incorporate the Master, Wardens and Members of the Maine Lodge — was read a 1st & 2nd time and tomorrow at 10' o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

[Report on pet of Selectment of Foxcroft] The committee on the petition of the Selectmen of Foxcroft for aid &c reported a reference of the subject to the committee on New Trials. The report accepted in Senate came down for concurrence — and the House concurred.

[Resolve - law of John Neptune] Resolve from the Senate in favor of John Neptune was read twice and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

[Bill - appt of SecY of State &c] Bill to provide for the appointment of a Secretary of State should that office become vacant — was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
