[Committee - Justices not to be Sheriff or Deputy -] Ordered That Messrs Stebbins of Alna, Lawrence of Fairfield and Dunlap of Brunswick be a Committee to consider whether provision ought to be made by law that no person shall hold, and exercise at the same time the office of Justice of the Peace and that of Sheriff or Deputy Sheriff, with leave to report by Bill or otherwise.
