An order of the Senate appointing Messrs Tallman and O.Brien with such as the House may join a committee to receive the returns of the several Banks made to the Legislature the present Session — investigate the same and report a statement of facts as respect the standing of each Bank with a view to enable the Legislature to judge of the expediency of raising a committee to examine into the actual condition of such as may appear of doubtful standing, came down for concurrence — The House concurred and Messrs Gardiner of Gardiner, Scammon of Saco and Dunlap of Brunswick were joined.
