[Report - relative duties of Clerks &c]

Committee appointed to enguire into the relative duties of the Clerks in the Secretary's and Treasurers Office - Report "that they find the duty of the Clerk in the Secretaries Office the most laborious but not so responsible as the duty of the Clerk in the Treasurers Office." Read and accepted.

[Resolve - pension to John Carlton [Carleton] 2d]

The engrossed Resolve granting a Pension to John Carleton junior came back from the Senate accompanied by the following message. In Senate March 17th 1821 The Senate have amended the engrossed Resolve granting a pension to John Carleton junr by erasing the "Junior" and inserting instead thereof the word Second in the title and also in the Resolve; and respectfully request the concurrence of the House. Read and concurred

[Resolve - further compensation to Treasurer for Clerk hire]

Resolve allowing further sum to the Clerk in the Treasurers Office for his services, which on 14th instant was passed to be engrossed, is on motion of Mr Chase of Livermore called up -the vote passing the same to be engrossed reconsidered and the subject of the resolve indefinitely postponed - Sent up for concurrence

[Resolve - Governor to send for ordnance &c]

Resolve authorizing the Governor to take measures to obtain the Share of ordnanance [ordnance] &c belonging to this State in possession of Massachusetts In Senate March 16th 1821. Passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence Read and passed in concurrence with the Senate.
