[Bill - toll to County of Cumberland -]

granting a Toll to the County of Cumberland to reimburse the expense of a Bridge to be erected at the expense of said County over Presumscut River at Staples point" report a reference to the next Legislature - on motion tomorrow at 11 oclock is assigned to give the subject consideration.

[Bill - government of the Indians &c &c]

The Committee to whom was referred the Bill "for the better rule and government of the Indians in their several places & plantations" report that the same ought not to pass - which report is accepted and the further consideration of the Bill indefinitely postponed.

[Report - allowing Militia Officers further time to take oath -]

The Committee to whom was referred the "Resolve allowing further time for Militia Officers to take and subscribe the oaths required by an Act passed 28th of June last" - report that the same ought to pass - which report is accepted and the Resolve Read and ordered to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

[Committee - valuation of Newry -]

Ordered That Messrs Grover of Bethel, Robinson of New Castle and Morrill of Monmouth be a Committee to accompany the members of the valuation Committee from the County of Oxford and examine the Valuation of the town of Newry with leave to report any error or alteration that may appear proper. Read and passed.
