In Senate Feby 22nd 1821 Ordered That Messrs Ripley & Kelleran with such as the House may join, be a Committee to enquire what allowance ought to be made to Daniel Rose and Nicholas Emery Esquires for their services as a Committee of the Legislature of Maine to negotiate for the purchase of the lands in this State belonging to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with leave to report by Resolve or otherwise. Read & passed. Sent down for concurrence. Read and concurred and Messrs Burgin of Eastport, Dunn of Poland & McCobb of Phipsburg are joined
