[Report of Committees] Mr. Buxton from the joint standing Committee on Incorporation of Parishes, made the following reports - viz: that Isaac Smith & others, of Harmony, cause an attested copy of their petition, and the order thereon to be served on the town clerk of said Harmony, and also to be posted in some public place in said town thirty days before the first wednesday of the next legislature, to the end persons interested may then appear and shew[show] cause, if any they have why the prayer of said petition should not be granted - : and that Stephen Heald and others cause notice of their petition - by serving an attested copy thereof and the order thereon upon the town clerk of Lovel, and also by posting a like copy of some public place in said Lovel - thirty days at least before the first wednesday of the next Legislature. Which reports were severally read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence - came up concurred.

[Committee discharged] Order of the House discharging the Committee on Incorporation of Towns from any further consideration of the petitions on the subject of organizing a new county to be composed of towns from Kennebec, Somerset & Oxford, came up for concurrence. Read and concurred

[Report of Committee] Mr. Dennett from the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals reported - that Convers Lilly and another cause an attested copy of their petition and order thereon to be published in the Maine Gazette, printed at Bath three weeks successively, the last publication to be thirty days before the first session of the next legislature, to the end persons interested may then shew[show] cause, if any they have why the prayer of said petition should not be granted - also on the petition of Ichabod Bucknam & others - that petitioners have leave to bring in a bill. Which reports were severally read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence - came up concurred.
