Bill additional to an act entitled an act to regulate the Manufacture & inspection of Stone lime & lime casks, came from the Senate with amendments for concurrence - and the House concurred & further amended the bill by adding a 4th Section. Sent up for concurrence
Message from the Governor.
A message from the Governor dated 17th FebY inst, was received (see appendix page) on the subject of the resignation of General Alden Blossom of 6th Division - & was read & sent up.
The House thereupon assigned tomorrow at 11 oclock to fill the vacancy of Major General in the 6th Division - and also assigned the same time to come to the choice of a Major General for the new 8th Division.
Maj. Gen. 6 Division also of - 8th Divis. to be chosen tomoro.
