[1824] [ January 23.] [Reports on Petitions] Mr. Wheeler from the Committee on the Petition of George Watson, reported that he have have to bring in a Resolve. Read, accepted and Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

Report of the Committee on the Petition of China Academy, which had been accepted and sent down for concurrence, came up nonconcurred, with an order for a recommitment, and the Senate reconsider their Vote accepting the report, and concur with the House.

Mr. Whitney from the Committee on the Petition of John Dudley and others, reported that the Petitioners cause an attested Copy of their Petition with this order thereon to be published in the Eastport Centinel printed at Eastport, three weeks successively, the last publication to be sixty days at least before the first Wednesday of the first Session of the next Legislature. Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

Mr. Steel fro the Committee on the Petition of John Deane, reported that he have leave to withdraw his Petition. Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.
