On motion by Mr Holmes of Alfred Ordered, That the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of providing by law for obtaining lands for burying grounds in towns or villages without the consent of the owners, when such consent cannot be obtained on payment of an equivalent as provided by the Constitution. Sent up for concurrence.
